CUSAT follows a CBCS credit-weighted CGPA system for many programmes. If your transcript already lists direct percentage, use that printed percentage; if it lists CGPA, apply the listed conversion formula.
Because CUSAT reports credit-weighted CGPA under a 10-point system, many local recruiters treat 6.0 CGPA as 60%; cross-check application portals that expect explicit mention of CUSAT.

Students with supplementary exams or pending papers may still calculate CGPA normally, but some recruiters and admission forms separately ask about active backlogs during screening.

Different universities follow different academic regulations and grading systems. CUSAT commonly uses a ×10 conversion approach, while many Kerala universities use ×9.5 for percentage estimation.
Many universities and credential evaluators prefer receiving CGPA exactly as printed on transcripts. Unless a form specifically asks for converted percentage, students often submit the original CGPA and allow evaluators to handle conversion independently.
Under the ×10 conversion method, 6.0 CGPA equals 60 percent. Students commonly use this estimate while checking placement and application eligibility requirements.
