Two formulas dominate: CGPA x 9.5 for many UGC CBCS universities, and (CGPA - 0.75) x 10 for VTU, SPPU, AKTU, MAKAUT, RTMNU, and JNTU campuses.
No. VTU, SPPU, AKTU, MAKAUT, RTMNU, JNTUH, and JNTUK use (CGPA - 0.75) x 10; GTU uses (CGPA - 0.5) x 10; Mumbai University uses 7.1 x CGPA + 11; and several universities use direct x10.
For x9.5 universities, 60% is about 6.32 CGPA. For VTU, SPPU, AKTU, MAKAUT, RTMNU, and JNTU it is 6.75 CGPA; GTU needs 6.50; direct x10 universities need 6.00; Mumbai University needs about 6.90.
